Vines

Everywhere in England, you see vines growing on the side of homes and buildings. I loved shooting all the varying vines. This one is a maple variety. I liked how the vine looked "fallish" yet tulips are growing indicating spring....a good juxtaposition.

Croquet Anyone?

An old croquet set that I found in a small alcove in a domed brick building at Hodcote Manor Gardens in the Cotswolds of England. I love the old wickets and the mallets.

I love the creamy tulips in this image. Against all the different textures of the stone, brick and etched glass, the smooth tulips really stand out. Textures...so many and so varied. And the tulips are SO tall in their stone container. It all caught my eye as I walked by.

Mother Nature in her infinite wisdom displays lovely patterns and colors with this sumac (I think sumac). A little bit of simplify with Topaz (one of my fav softwares) and voila! Lovely...
